Here's what to expect...
  • warm up: we’ll start by mobilizing the spine and opening the chest through strategic downward dog positions. reminder that we have a downward dog tutorial to support form here!
  • *lunge series: this lunge focuses on isometric holds for firing the muscles, arm movements for opening the shoulders, and wide leg forward folds for promoting flexibility!
  • leg series: this series moves between a side leg sweeping position and prone position (aka laying face down). it’s great for posture and strengthening the back! however, if laying on the belly doesn’t work for your body, you can move to kneeling and still get similar benefits.
  • oblique series: our twisted plank meets lateral oblique work — a classic be.come combo. reminder to use the knees when it feels right! this one isn’t easy.
  • bridge: have a chair close by as we’ll use it to practice tricep dips!
*indicates series where 2/3 lb weights can be used.
