We are hiring a part-time Coordinator to undertake a variety of administrative and project management tasks. You will help us with bigger projects within our growing company, including carrying out important operational duties. We are looking for someone organized and detail-oriented, with strong communication and critical thinking skills. Basic to intermediate tech skills and knowledge is also required. This position has the potential to grow into a full–time position.
Organization & Attention to Detail: We are looking for someone with impeccable attention to detail who is able to connect dots and anticipate needs, while also a strong multi-tasker who has great time-management skills. Candidate must be able to handle calendars, coordinate travel, as well as manage weekly agendas and status reports.
Communication Skills: Candidate will be asked to provide customer service support for clients, in addition to reaching out on behalf of the company to various other entities in regards to ongoing business. The ability to communicate kindly and effectively, with good verbal and written communication skills are vital. In addition to internal and external communication, the coordinator will manage the company’s blog which includes creating concepts, identifying contributors, and editing submitted pieces.
Critical Thinking Skills: Candidate must be able to think quickly, often solving problems as they arise. We are looking for someone who is able to address immediate situations at hand in a timely manner while simultaneously considering the larger picture.
Tech Skills: Candidate must have a thorough understanding of computers, basic software, and Gsuite (google drive and email). The coordinator will need to navigate through various databases to complete their daily tasks. Additionally, they will be required to analyze and interpret data and communicate it to the team effectively.
Additional Requirements: Candidate must provide their own computer, wifi and cell phone in which to complete their daily tasks.
Compensation: $20/hr – negotiable based on experience
Time Commitment: ~ 15 hours/week with room to grow; schedule can be relatively flexible but candidate needs to be consistently accessible; weekend availability required.
Location: Majority of work will be done remotely but candidate must reside in the New York City area, and must be available for a weekly meeting in Lower Manhattan
